Nani Waddoups, Licensed Professional Counselor

These are most unusual times. As we emerge from the global pandemic of COVID-19, the myriad of new and unusual conditions at play are asking so much of us. We are having to adapt, and shift, and maneuver through not only changed logistics, but through the fickle landscape of our inner worlds, which, for many, include an unpredictable shifting of responses including grief, disbelief, fear, anxiety, and confusion, as well as hope, freedom, and possibility. How to navitate it all? How to stay present with our experience in healthy ways? How is this time changing our relationship to our old patterns and our desire to emerge from this fresh, clear, and having been changed by it in ways that we want and choose?

I'm here to help sort through this...via Zoom, of course...and I'm thinking that this might just be the perfect time for therapy. If you're an old client from the past, it would be wonderful to see how you're coping with all this. If you're new to me, and want to meet to see what I'm all about, please don't hesitate to make an initial consult appointment. We are all in this together, and I believe we can emerge stronger for it.

Please call or email me and we can make a date. I look forward to hearing from you.

About Me

I am a professional listener. My work is to attune with my clients and to strive for understanding. I believe that we all want to be understood and to understand ourselves. My natural curiosity, my training, and my work with clients continue to hone my skills for asking the right questions, sharing my perspective, and checking in to confirm we are still on the right course.

I believe that we are all in this together. The messiness of life has been my best teacher. I am 60 years old and have navigated these years in ways that have helped me appreciate the richness and complexity of what it is to be human and to celebrate the potential for self-determination.
